Even though it's Halloween......

Well, it may be Halloween today, but, I have decided that today is the day I make my first deco mesh Christmas wreath. Not sure how long it will take or how hard it will be but I am pretty confident that I can do this! The video said it should take about 75 minutes, so here goes.......

Step 1: Tie the baubles together in groups of 3.

Step 2: Tie the mesh to the frame, first the red......

  

then the green......

finally add the baubles.....

The final product hanging on the wall. 

I love it!!! It really was quite easy and i am so inspired that I think I will have to make a few more, maybe smaller ones, as at this size I will quickly run out of wall space!

I know Christmas is still a few weeks away but I think this will now stay on the wall until the big day.

Starting early

I know, it's only October, but I love Christmas! Hence the name of my blog. Everyone who knows me can tell you that once it gets to this time of the year I go a little crazy! So much to do, so many shops and websites to browse, always looking for just one more Christmas item, whether it be lights or decorations. This year I have found a new shop called My Christmas and they have the most wonderful decorations.  Plus, I can buy do it yourself kits. So.......this year I am going to attempt to make a Christmas wreath out of deco mesh. I have seen these online before but never thought to try and make one myself. I am sure if it is a success many more will follow!
